The series Untitled (Söl) and Untitled (Jüdd) are the most recent iterations of an exploration into the aesthetic and critical legacies of feminism and minimalism. This work simultaneously recuperates and critiques the politics of these disparate movements through formal appropriations charged with humor and parody. At the center of my practice is an investigation into labor, capital, and production understood through feminist critical theory. By replicating canonized sculptures by Sol Lewitt and Donald Judd with Ikea furniture parts I at once expand my inquiry to both the home and the institution.
